Today:
Most places dry and sunny, and becoming pleasantly warm in the north. Strong easterly winds persisting in the south, and here cloud and showery rain will slowly spread northwards later.

Tonight:
Northern UK dry with long clear spells. Rain will spread from the south to cover most of southern England by the end of the night, some heavier bursts possible.

Wednesday:
Much of Scotland staying dry and sunny. Elsewhere, very unsettled with rain or showers, some heavy and prolonged. Feeling cool in prolonged rain, although strong easterly winds gradually easing.
